They also boast ownership of around 11,000 multifamily units. In total, the company owns upwards of 9 million square feet of business real estate. Currently, the company has approximately 450 employees. The main offices for the Lightstone Group are located in New York City. They also have other offices located in several northeastern states.

He also led his company in the purchase of a major outlet brand in 2003. He was able to show the world that higher-end retailers are also willing to participate in outlet-type shopping. He then sold the company in 2010 for a substantial profit to shopping mall giant Simon Property Group.

Aside from his business pursuits, David Lichtenstein also has many other personal and professional interests.  He is a member of the board for Touro College, a private university that offers many different degrees. Touro College is based in New York City, but has many campuses throughout the United States and worldwide. Touro offers two-year, four- year, and advanced degrees in many fields.

One of the college’s primary focuses is the medical field. They offer advanced medical degrees, including master’s as well as doctorates.  One of the schools in the Touro network is the New York Medical College, for which David Lichtenstein also serves on the board. New York Medical College is one of the biggest private health colleges in the United States.  This man is a philanthropist at heart and enjoys his involvement in many causes in both the health and education fields.

David also invests in a company called BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics. Brainstorm is a biotech company that focuses on developing adult stem cell therapy for ailments such as Parkinson’s disease. This company works diligently to find therapies and treatments for these highly debilitating neurodegenerative diseases.

Currently, BrainStorm is testing a stem cell therapy for ALS, which is known to most as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The company is based in Israel and is conducting studies there. This particular study that focuses on Lou Gehrig’s disease has so far shown promising results. The final report is set for issue near the end of 2012, and it will show whether or not the treatment can continue with other patients. The FDA also gave BrainStorm a financial incentive to develop this particular treatment.

Outside of professional pursuits, Lichtenstein also enjoys a variety of hobbies. He is an avid traveler and has visited more than 50 countries and speaks six languages. He enjoys visiting historical sites during his travels and spending time with local citizens. He tries to avoid predictable “tourist traps” and prefers to focus his time on the culture and history of the places he chooses to visit.

David Lichtenstein also enjoys working in his backyard garden. On the weekends and in any other free time that he may have, Mr. Lichtenstein is found tending to his garden. He enjoys planting and cultivating both vegetables and flowers. He is not afraid to get a little dirt under his fingernails for the sake of a successful garden. He is also a master chess player.

In order to achieve success in his real estate investing, he knows that a break is needed from time to time. This is why he pursues a variety of hobbies and professional associations. He knows that every experience builds on the one before it, leading to a more well-rounded career path.

David Lichtenstein: A Talented Graphologist

Graphology is the study of human handwriting. Graphology is considered a pseudoscience, meaning that it is useful, but does not necessarily conform to scientific norms like testing in a laboratory. However, graphology is helpful in many different arenas. It is typically used in the psychological field, but also can carry over into other fields as well.

The first published works that address graphology are thought to begin as long ago as 1575. Unfortunately, graphology has experienced somewhat of a decline since the 1990s, when typing started to become more the norm for written communication. Still, it is used to understand the ways that people write, and why.

Graphology is sometimes used in the medical field. Studying handwriting is a useful tool to help diagnose some diseases of the central nervous system or the brain. It can also help to track the progression of these diseases in patients who are afflicted. This is because the central nervous system controls the muscles that we use to write. This type of graphology is considered different from other types, because it can provide a more concrete diagnosis.

It is also sometimes used to help determine the severity of damage to the brain or central nervous system in patients who have had strokes. Handwriting can also help assess the level of success of certain medications. For example, a graphologist or doctor can take a handwriting sample from a patient both before and after a medication is administered. While not 100 percent concrete evidence, this is a good way to gauge the effectiveness of a medication on certain types of conditions.

While sometimes considered controversial, graphology also has a wide range of other uses. One of these uses is employment screening. Potential employers take a writing sample from someone who applies for a job with their company.  The handwriting sample is then evaluated as a sort of personality profile. This is nearly always used in conjunction with other hiring tools.

Graphology is also used in many other applications. Some examples are marital compatibility, the study of forensic evidence in crime, jury selection, and psychological analysis. Another related study of handwriting is graphoanalysis, which is similar to graphology.

David Lichtenstein is a talented graphologist. Lichtenstein has used his talent in this field to help children who are struggling in school. He has also helped his company to screen potential employees using the principles of graphology. Graphology is just one of Mr. Lichtenstein’s many passions,
